Frugal Food Shopping Idea

I just wanted to show you some of what I found at Amazon's Grocery Department. All these products came via "free shipping" (from the States to the States) and they were much cheaper than I could get them at my local grocery store...yaaay! Check it out and see if there is anything you can save $$$ on!

Thanks Jeff! :)

Too bad you aren't here to join in on a family dinner again...I would give you some homemade chicken soup! Let us know when you are in town again and we will make a plan...

Blessings,
Your "big" sis in the Lord,
Camille

Thanks for this tip. I'm always looking for good deals on maple syrup because it's so expensive. I'll have to check it out.

Christa

Oh Camille, I am so proud of you!! We love Amazon for things like that, is that maple syrup, we get ours there too. Organic popcorn, agave nectar, Tazo tea, organic torilla chips...I can't think of what else. For many of them we do the 'subscribe and save' it works out so great. We can at anytime change the order, or stop it, but I like not having to think about it. I feel quite spoiled, like someone else is doing the shopping for me.

And the chicken stock post, you go girl. I am working on another post about making your own stock, just took pictures of mine simmering today.

Also, I wanted to thank you for your kind words and encouragement. They bless me everytime! My husband keeps saying she's an encouragement butterfly like you honey. You are like that, you know how you just smile when you see a beautiful butterfly float by you?? Well that is what you do dear. Thank you so much. The Lord uses you to pick me up and keep me smiling. It is just so nice to have someone just 'care' sometimes, you know? I prayed quite a bit for you today, the Lord had you on my heart. I am all alone today, so lots of time to pray. Love you dear sister!

Welcome Michelle!

Thanks for stopping by "my place"...and thank you for your sweet encouragement! You have been a blessing to me many times! :)

I found out about the Amazon secret from you and went shopping! I will definitely be shopping there again and again...such savings are hard to pass up. I am about half way through those steel cut oats...another order is imminent.

I have always been keen on healthy ways of doing things (especially as it pertains to food), but I am still learning LOTS! I appreciate all the info you have provided on your blog. I also have been enjoying your great breakfast recipes...I've done all five of them now and we love them all.

Have a wonderful day!
In His Love,
Camille

Did you know you can make your own mock maple syrup using sucanat? I have the recipe on my blog if you are interested. It tastes just like the real thing and costs waaaayyyy less!

I'll have to check it out! I do have a recipe already, but I would be happy to try another.

I buy real maple syrup and RATION it...there are good things in it that sugar doesn't have...that's my reasoning. Maybe sucanat has the same trace minerals...haven't got that far in my research yet. :)

Have a terrific week!
Blessings,
Camille
