Where Does Your Strength Come From?

These praying hands were drawn by my Dad while he was a Bible School student in the 60's. We are the fortunate owners of this lovely drawing and my husband has it hung in his office.

It serves as a wonderful reminder of where our strength lies. In God Alone do we put our trust...He is the sustainer of our very breath. What a blessing to be a child of the King of Kings!

I love this article on prayer written so beautifully as a reminder to us all that we are to be constantly in an attitude of prayer and need to set time aside to pray...like Daniel. We are, after all, walking through this life WITH the Lord!

Dear J ~ Thank you for your compliments to my Dad...I have always enjoyed his ability to draw...the LORD gave him that talent. This particular picture is a treasure...I am thankful that he shared it with us! :)

Dear Patty ~ The ONLY place to truly be fortified. :)

Dear Heather ~ Yes, the LORD gave this talent to our oldest son also. Each of the children have some artistic ability...it is all from the hand of God....might they use it for His glory. :)

Blessings to you each one!

Camille, I know I've seen this picture before. My dad had a painting of those praying hands hanging in his office!!!! Did your father pencil sketch the painting, or free hand it! If he is the original artist, I stand amazed, because I haven't seen it for years and it truly is a small world. I don't know what ever happened to that picture that we had, but it was during the 60's I first saw it.

Dear Lois ~ Oh no...he is not the original artist! He had a very little print of it as well...and then he enlarged it and did the work in pencil. It is in a frame that is probably 24" x 18". Small world still though, isn't it? Thanks for taking the time to comment...it is a blessing to me! :)

In Him,
Camille
