Sunrise at the Beach

We live near the beach.
We walk along the promenade for exercise.
What a blessing it is!
We do not know how long we will have this privilege.
Our times are in HIS hands.
I trust we do not take it for granted.

One morning in January we were there very early ~
Before the sunrise.
Calvin brought his camera along ~
He captured all these amazing shots!

A big thank you to our budding photographer
for letting me post these pictures!
Love you! xo

Camille, thank you for asking Calvin if you could post his breathtaking pictures. And thank you to Calvin for allowing you to share with us the beauty that surrounds you as you exercise and commune with HIM. For a fleeting moment I was being envious, and even had the thought, "If I had that view surrounding me I would exercise without a problem"...and just as quickly, HE reminded me of the beauty of my surroundings...no, it isn't beaches, but it is a rural setting surrounded completely by HIS creation...trees that change with the seasons, beautiful flowers, wildlife...and neighbors to pray for as I walk.

I hope this makes sense, but because of your sharing Calvin's pictures HE gently reminded me of my own blessings! SO, I am happy to report...NO envy here! :-) But you do have a lovely area to walk and enjoy.

Blessings to you today, my friend!
Dianna

Dear Dianna ~ I appreciate your heart and your sweet honesty! How quickly we can become discontent with the things the LORD has given! We all struggle with that...I know I do! We live a few miles away from this beach and do not see it from our home. It is a treat to exercise there...for sure! But, God's creation all has its own unique beauty...what a lovely testimony of God's goodness to you in your part of HIS world. Might we all enjoy what HE gives and glorify HIM in it! Thank you for visiting today. :)

Dear Heather in Oregon ~ Yes, I agree...the ocean is gorgeous! God's beauty is found in all of HIS creation...might we truly have eyes to see. The pier has been on this part of the beach for many years...it's especially wild to walk on a windy day! :)

Dear Jill ~ Isn't that a fun one? I think he was trying to get a shot like that...the poor bird! LOL! :)

Dear Linda ~ Oh the ocean is a favourite place for me too. It's always changing...each day the view is different. This was a particularly beautiful day...we've had a lot of rain and grey this winter, so it was a treat. :)

Dear Patty ~ We love it here. Every part of God's creation has its own beauty though, don't you think? :)

Many blessings to you each one!
In Him,
Camille

Calvin, you have captured beautiful pictures of God's beauty! He is an amazing God, though there are many who will never serve Him, who gives us all these blessings of sunrises...
His mercy is never ending!!!

I grew up near the Atlantic ocean in S. Florida and never appreciated it's beauty until I left. I love going each time I visit my parents. There is so much in a beach the brings my mind to Christ...

Blessings to you!!!

Wow! Camille!
Those are fantastic! Calvin did a marvelous job. What a beautiful place to exercise. And so healthful to breath in that salty air!(And a 'promenade' makes it sound so Victorian!) Those photos remind me of the chorus (and scripture) "From the rising of the sun, to the going down of the same, our God's name is to be praised".
I think you will not be having more days such as these for a bit ~ like us, you are probably in the midst of a snow storm. Gather together with your dear family and cuddle and stay warm. Spring will be here in just a few short weeks.
Blessings!

What beautiful photos! We love, love, love the beach and don't get there near often enough. How neat that you live so close! Hats off to your boy...he has a talent.

Blessings on you,

Dear Christine ~ How sad it is..."many will never serve Him"...but, one day..."every knee shall bow"...what a thought! Our beach is the Pacific...how beautiful is the area you grew up in! Interesting that we often don't realize what we have until it is gone. I'm sure there are many *new* beauties where you live now! :)

Dear Raeann ~ We haven't got the snow...yet! Maybe it's on its way?? Stay warm my friend! Yes, God's name is to be praised! Thank you for your sweet words to Calvin...I will show him. :)

Dear Tami ~ Isn't there just something glorious about the ocean? I miss it when I am too far away. Thank you for encouraging Calvin...he will be blessed by your kind comments. :)

Many blessings to you each one!
In His Love,
Camille

Dear Jenn ~ We do too! It really is a blessing. I went to College in the Prairies and missed the ocean something terrible. I suppose that makes me appreciate it all the more. Thank you for your sweet encouragement to Calvin! :)
