Hot Fudge Sauce

Easy to make.  Yummy to eat.
Never ever need to buy
ready made again!

What are you waiting for?
This sauce will work well on any ice cream ~
I'm sure of it.  Actually...I know it.

First hand.

Here is the recipe ~
As found in the Tenth Edition of the

For your convenience
(not to mention your eyes)
the ingredients are listed below.

3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk (5 oz can)

In small heavy saucepan
melt chocolate pieces and butter
over low heat.

Add sugar and gradually stir
in the milk.

Boil gently over low heat for
about 8 minutes ~ stir often.

Remove from heat and serve
warm over ice cream.

Makes about 1 & 1/2 cups
of pure yumminess.
Store leftovers in the fridge.

And try not to eat it
by the spoonful!

Don't say I didn't warn you.

Enjoy!

Oh man... just the first photo alone makes me want "that" spoonful and more. :)

I haven't made homemade hot fudge in such a long time...thanks for the reminder.

Yummy indeed! I think I may have to try this, Camille ~ I just got an ice cream attachment to my Kitchen Aid for Christmas (we just celebrated as a family this last Sunday!) Now to try your ice cream recipe, too!

Dear Patty ~ It is. I hope you enjoy it! :)

Dear Bevy ~ How lovely it is to hear from you. :) Too late on *that* spoonful...it's ALL GONE! How scary it is! I must keep in mind that it really doesn't last and to only make ONE recipe and not TWO! LOL! :)

Dear Trisha ~ It is SO yummy! I am sure you will like it. :)

Dear Becky ~ ENJOY! :)

Dear Raeann ~ Oooohhh!!! You got THE attachment??? Yippee!! ENJOY! :)

Dear Nadine ~ How fun that we have the very SAME cookbook from the same time period! One thing that may be different is mine has a BURN mark on the spine from an incident with the stove in those early married days. :(

Dear Jenn ~ Um. I think I nearly did! :(

Many Blessings and with Love,
Camille
