Usual and Ordinary

Just a little peek into the usual and ordinary things of life
around these here parts in recent days.

Spring is arriving in our neck of the woods ~ we are ready!
Emma brought me flowers (evidence) while she was out rollerblading.
In the mornings, the birds sing early and the breezes filter through
the screens open to the great outdoors ~ I love what spring brings.

Well, maybe not all the rain.  No, I don't love the rain.
But, it is necessary for all the green.  Right?

A few little things for a few little friends.

A Monopoly game in progress ~ it went on for days.

First BBQ of the season ~ Burgers.

Sheets fresh from the line ~ a favourite.

Morning time of quiet with her Daddy.

Preparations for a Theory Exam ~
he will be glad to have it behind him.

Handmade birthday cards for Calvin from the other two ~
It isn't obvious what he enjoys, is it?  I didn't think so.  *wink*

What's been happening in your neck of the woods?
Are you enjoying the usual and ordinary things of life?
Sometimes those really are the best things after all.

If these are trying days with difficult things, please know

that I understand some of the sorrows that can accompany times like these.
Feel free to email me privately and I will lift you up in prayer.
The Lord knows.  He sees.  He is faithful.

May the Lord give much grace and strength

for whatever season you find yourself in.
He is always good.  His ways are eternally best.

Happy Weekend Y'all!

With Love, Camille

We are getting our living room painted. Right now Israel and Bernie are working, putting up tape. The work begins. All the furniture etc are in middle of the room. My rhodies are blooming, lilacs are waning. Wind and some rain. Next week will be better. I'd just ask that you'd pray for a "heart" matter for me. It's ok, just knowing that God is there, knowing where my heart is. It's just been are hard 1.5 week. Hugs!

I just loved peeking into your life ....at the ordinary things in your day. Those ordinary things are the most special when woven together in our memories. Love it!

Let's see we are busy planting a garden. Getting ready warmer weather, storms (tornado time) and a bit of traveling. Some home projects coming up, which is always nice to spruce things up a bit.

Hugs~ Cinnamon

Really enjoyed reading your blog. I'm enjoying every day of warm spring. Especially days of sunshine. Busy wrapping up the church year, doing a Safe Church file review and getting ready to plant the flowers in the garden containers. On the really lovely days I'm enjoying sitting outside and reading. It's a good spring so far.

Your pictures show such a peaceful life. That is something I strive for daily. I struggle not to get too busy. I strive to guard those moments of peace and rest, or just enjoying the simple things. We play Monopoly for days, too, LOL ;)

Its nice to see what you are up to. We had spring on Saturday, but today we have winter… it looks like about 6 inches of snow this morning. That's Colorado weather for you (I imagine Canada can be similar in weather; spring one day and winter the next even in May? We used to play Monopoly for days on end when we were kids. The cards your kids made were very good; I am sure they are treasures to Calvin; so sweet that they made them for him. Is he wanting to be a pilot? Your laundry on the line picture is lovely. Something so cozy to see. Have a great week Camille. Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog.
Love and Blessings,
Pam

Dear Lisa ~ Miss you, too my friend! I am glad you are in our lives as well. God is so good to us, isn't He? Hugs to all of you!! :)

Dear Pam ~ Yes, weather can be finicky here as well. However, since we live on the coast, we don't get very much snow at all. Happy Spring to you (once the snow disappears)! Calvin *loves* all things aviation...his uncle is a commercial pilot and his dad is a private pilot...perhaps it is in his future as well? Thanks for asking. :)

With love,
Camille
