MRI Results ~ An Update

"Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness,
and for His wonderful works to the children of men!"
~ Psalm 107:8 ~

What great things the LORD has done!
Please join with us in rejoicing
in God's Goodness to our family!

Today we had our follow-up appointment
at Children's Hospital in Cardiology.
Austin was there for another Echo and an ECG.
After those tests were done,
we were seen by the Cardiologist.

He gave us the results of the
MRI that was done last month.

We expected damage to be shown.
It was assumed that it would be there.
Medically speaking, it should be there.

But it isn't.

Austin has Dilated Cardiomyopathy.
His heart is still functioning in
reduced capacity due to this condition.
He is on three heart medications.

The Cardiologist said today
that Austin will ALWAYS need heart meds.
As long as he has this heart.

But, we serve a Great God!
He is the Great Physician.
He is able to do the impossible.

He already has.

And so, we pray.
And we thank HIM for this
wonderful news.
HE has done this!
We praise HIS Holy Name!

"And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing
which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee,
and unto thine house..."
~ Deuteronomy 26:11a ~

We seek to live one day at a time.
Each day is a Gift.

Thank you to each one of
you who has faithfully prayed for our
family in these last few months.
The LORD hears.
He answers.
And He does all things well.

Always.

In HIS Love,
Camille

  2. What wonderful news you have shared Camille. 'The damage should be there but it isn't'... We serve a God who is able to do miracles and this sure sounds like one to me! Rejoicing with you. The Lord has heard and answered the prayers of His people. All glory to Him. We will keep on praying for Austin for continued restoration of his health as he takes the medications.
Have to go now and tell my children - I love telling them about when God answers our prayers!

  3. Camille! Praise God! What an encouragement today. My sister-in-law just had emergency brain surgery last night to remove a tumor found the day before. It was successfully removed--now for radiation. Please pray for her emotional state and for a hope and trust in her Creator. She knows Him but it's tough right now.
Thanking Him for your wonderful news!

  19. I am so glad he is doing well. God is good. I will still pray for you. It's such a blessing to know God is with us. You ask what kind of Cd's we make. I wanted to tell you that the CD's we make are singing ones. Our family has a ministry of singing in concerts, churches, and differnt things. We try to make a new CD every year. God has given us this ministry. My husband used to play the piano for a southern gospel group. All of our children sing with us. Our oldest daughter, myself and my husband sing most but they do sing too. You can look and listen to our CD at bellfamilyministries.com If you would like too.

This has been a week of miracles - big and small. A good friend of mine had a stroke last week and God is moving mightily and healing her faster than anyone could have ever hoped for and he's preserved the life of her unborn child (#5).

THANK YOU for letting us participate with you in seeking God and witnessing His AWESOME work in your family!

  30. Camille~

I just finished reading all the posts about Austin's heart journey!
As I was reading them on my computer... a song was playing that a friend gave me and I did not know all the words until I searched for it and found the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbIXoPblF8Q

I will send you the words to the song in an email but it is simply entitled: BELIEVE

    Believe
    By Hillsong
    VERSE 1:
    You are my light
    You are my strength
    You are my Rock
    On You I stand

    I lift my voice
    I raise my hands
    I lift my soul
    With all I am

    PRE-CHORUS:
    In Christ forever I'll stand
    I will believe
    CHORUS:
    You are strong enough
    In my weakness
    God be lifted up
    And I will sing
    Lift Your praises high
    Lord be magnified
    You make all things new
    I will believe

    VERSE 2:
    So, hear this song
    Receive our praise
    You are our strength
    For all our days

    We lift You up
    Our voices high
    In every storm
    Let God arise
    BRIDGE:
    Oh, Your love
    Your love it never fails
Your love, it knows no end
    Your love will never fail

    Oh, Your love
    Stronger than my shame
    Greater than my pain
    Your love will never fail
    I will believe

I am crying as I type this because the beautiful words apply to both your situation and mine.

The huge tree that came down on the house had a huge RED HEARt on it [painted there about 4 years ago]. It has always represented God's Heart to me on the big Oak tree. He is making all things new!

And... God has conncected our hearts once again! I praise HIM!

Living in the fulness of JOY,
    Stephanie
