I would like to share with you something precious
that was shared with me quite some time ago.
I had been anticipating ~ with a measure of dread ~
a new work situation which I knew wouldn't be pleasant.
A godly man learned of my distress and told me...
"Camille, God's grace will be there EXACTLY when you need it!"
The grace for a future obstacle or situation will always arrive on time...
God is NEVER late with His provisions.
We may wonder how we will handle what is coming;
a new job, a new baby, a new home,
the loss of a loved one, personal difficulty or illness,
another homeschool year...
WHATEVER it is...
again, I would say ~
God's grace WILL be there for whatever
it is that you need to face.
We all can wonder, but we
MUST NEVER WORRY ~
BIG difference!
Worrying, of course, is sin.
Turn everything over to the Lord in prayer
and He will relieve you of the burden of care...
trust Him, He DOES know what He is doing!
God is Sovereign and Perfect...
we know these things,
but do we LIVE like we know them?
Do we live like we
BELIEVE them?
He works everything out for our good
and for His glory ~ see Romans 8:28.
Philippians 4:13 ~
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
Philippians 4:19 ~
"But my God shall supply ALL your NEED
according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
(emphasis mine)
II Corinthians 12:9-10 ~
"...My grace is sufficient for thee:
for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities,
in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions,
in distresses for Christ's sake:
for when I am weak, then I am strong."
As I journey with the Lord through this life,
I have seen the truth in what that wise and godly older gentleman
told me on that day long ago.
We all have difficulties to face ~ trials, and sometimes terrible circumstances,
but we CAN face ALL of it, with thanksgiving,
WITH the Lord and by His grace...
day by day, moment by moment.
What a blessing to be a child of the King of Kings!

Thank you! I needed to read this, this morning.
Have a blessed weekend.
~Bevy
Oh, how thankful for grace I am. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing this. I needed to hear exactly this today...good preparation for when I go back to work on Monday. I love the people I work with...but the job can be difficult. I've done it before :) :) :)...and there are always going to be things that aren't "lovable" about any given work situation...but I really want to focus on the good things God has blessed me with at work...and I want to be a ray of sunshine for my co-workers, too!!! Thank you!!! Extra love and hugs for you today...from Oregon, Heather :)
Yes, yes, yes! You speak truth! His grace IS sufficient. Always! Again, thank you for your encouragement! Encouragement to LIVE what I say I believe.
Thank you for this Camille. It's so comforting to know that God is sovereign over everything, including the smallest details of our lives. I don't know what I would do if I didn't believe this. You are such an encouragement to me Camille and I'm glad the Lord connected us through this funny blog world. Have a blessed Lord's day tomorrow.
Christa
Dear Bevy ~ That is such an encouragement to me! Might the LORD help us all to really live this out! I find it so easy to worry! Have a lovely LORD's Day! :)
Dear Patty ~ Oh how WONDERFUL the grace of God really is! I don't think we will truly understand the depths of it until we reach Heaven! :)
Dear Heather's Blog-o-rama ~ It is something I have proven to be true over and over again! May the LORD give you all you need as you go into your work situation next week! AND I think you are right...the LORD has you there for a purpose. HE will give you the enabling to do ALL things as unto HIM for HIS glory as you look to HIM for the strength and grace you need. :)
Dear J ~ How precious HIS truth is! How wonderful that we can have fellowship IN HIM...I appreciate you! How blessed we are to belong to HIM! :)
Dear Christa ~ Oh YES!! The Sovereignty of God is such a PRECIOUS doctrine that I have come to cherish!! Isn't it WONDERFUL to comletely REST in that?? AND, I am thankful that we have met too...it is kind of interesting to think that through this medium we can forge friendships. The LORD does all things well! :)
Have a wonderful LORD's Day!
Blessings,
Camille
What a wonderful and encouraging post Camille! Thank you so much! It is hardnot to worry at times, like you said it IS sin, I try my best to "hold every thought capticve" and respond through prayer :) Michael's big 'joke' is:
There is only one thing that we can be anxious about. Nothing :)
His grace is perfect. Thank you Lord!
Have a blessed weekend my friend :)
Love,
Sharon
Dear Sharon ~ God's Word is such a blessing, isn't it? I *love* the way that it is living and pertinent to every thing we must face in this life! How wonderful that we walk through each step of the way with our Saviour! As you said ~ "His grace is perfect"!
Have a refreshing LORD's Day!
With Love,
Camille
Amen!! What a beautiful reminder that God is there...here.... exactly when we need Him. He knows BEFORE we need HIM, just what we need :-)
Enjoying being worry free (or at least giving it my best shot) :-)
~Cinnamon
Dear Cinnamon ~ Oh how WONDERFUL to know these things...may HE give us each the grace to LIVE it out moment by moment! How precious HE is! Continue to REST in HIM...HE is faithful!! :)
Blessings to you!
In His Love,
Camille
I came back and wrote down all the Scripture verses and I'll make sure and have them somewhere on my desk while I'm at work every day!!! Since we'll have regular seats again, I can post stuff and leave it up on my desk for the day :) :) :)
Oh, my dad says the same thing...Stress leads to worry...and worry is sin...because God tells us NOT to worry :) :) Those are good words!! I'd rather trust god anyday, than myself...:) :) :) I start work tomorrow :) :)
Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
Excellent thoughts. Good distinction b/n wonder and worry.

Dear Camille,
I came here by way of Stephanie's blog and I just read your guest post there...absolutely a beautiful idea.
I'm so glad that I found you through our dear sister Stephanie. I invite you to visit my blog and I hope to encourage you there too. I have requests there for my dearly beloved husband (heart problems), my sister (cancer), my son-in-law (Chrones Disease), my littlest grandson (a small swollen lymph node in lower right pelvic area). I would love for you to add them to your prayer bowl.
I can tell that you are a beautiful person with a beautiful loving faithful heart devoted to the Lord, your family and others.
I have become a follower of yours today. If you feel led after visiting, I would love to have you become a follower of mine too.
God bless you dear one and I'll be back to visit again.
Your post today was amazing as well. It touched me deeply especially with all that our family has been and continues to go through with so many physical struggles. You blessed me so tonight.
In Him,
Alleluiabelle

Dear Stephanie ~ Thanks again for inviting me to guest post on your blog...it has been a blessing to my heart! May the LORD be glorified in all we do! :)
Welcome Alleluiabelle ~ So lovely to "meet" you! Thank you for taking the time to encourage me today through your comment. I have added you to our prayer basket and we will bring your family before the LORD in prayer. How precious that HE is in complete control of all things and is with us each step of the journey! :)
Blessings to each of you!
In Him,
Camille
