Fancy Date

Way back before Christmas, a great coupon deal for a local restaurant flashed
across my screen.  I snapped one up and wrapped it in a box
and put it under the tree for Howie.  It was one of his gifts from me.
(Of course, my intention was that we would use it together.)
We redeemed that coupon last week.

It was for Bridges Restaurant located on Granville Island.

The restaurant overlooks the water and is situated between two bridges...
hence, it's name.  :)  There are windows everywhere which reflect light, but,
these images still give a glimpse of the view.  Stunningly beautiful.

We stayed until the sun went down and the lights came up.

The food was amazing.  Just look at the dessert!  (We shared it.)

If you are in the area, Bridges is a wonderful spot for a fancy date.
But, make sure you have a coupon!  It's the only way to go.
Trust my advice on this...you'll be sorry if you don't.  :)

What's your favourite restaurant to go to on a date?
Or, do you prefer to go hiking or cycling or sightseeing with your Sweetie?
Please share your ideas in the comments...I'm all ears.  :)

Happy Wednesday Y'all!
With Love, Camille

That dessert looked absolutely wonderful. :) My husband and I rarely go out to dinner but we do enjoy a fancy meal in our living room every now and then.
I loved all the windows in your pictures. It sure did look fancy and I am glad you could go.

Stunning night photos, one of my favorite times of the day to take photos is that twilight hour when the sky is deep blue and the lights begin to turn on. The coupon was a great idea for a gift for your hubby (I think I may just have to try that idea...sounds like a win, win)
We enjoy going to the various festivals and free concerts available in the area for our date nights in the warmer weather. Bridges looks like just the kind of restaurant we would enjoy, the view is beautiful and the dessert did look amazing, i'm so glad you enjoyed it. Hoping you are having a wonderful day, blessings!

Dear Katy ~ I was so glad we had to share....I could have put the whole thing away myself and that would have been a very bad thing! :)

Dear Nikki ~ A romantic dinner at home sounds lovely. What a blessing that you make it happen! Hugs to you. :)

Dear Angela ~ It was a real treat. Perhaps you could go sometime with a friend or two? It's so very pretty. :)

Dear Maryann ~ What a fun place you live in! It's wonderful that you can take advantage of all those free concerts and festivals! I am sure it is a lovely thing to do on those warm summer evenings. I agree...twilight is the best time of day for photos. :)

Dear Carrie ~ Mmmm...I like Mexican, too. You are making me hungry. I suppose I should go make lunch! :)
