The Big Guns

Sometimes the Big Guns are required.
There's no shame in that.
Through God's Providential Care, our child with Crohn's Disease
is in Children's Hospital.  He is there by design.

And God is Good.  Always.

We see His Hand in all the events that have led to this moment.
We see His Loving Care being displayed to our precious son.
He is sick.  Very sick.
And he is receiving amazing care.
We are so thankful for this mercy.

What a blessing to know that it is the LORD Who holds us.
We are standing on the Solid Rock.

We still believe that an excellent way to
manage this disease is through diet.
For the long term.
But, right now, he needs the Big Guns.
And he is getting them.  By God's Grace.

Please pray that the LORD would have His way in this storm.
And that we would have wisdom in the midst of it all.
Thank you so much for your kind friendship ~
it is a great blessing.

I will be offline for the next little while ~
just so you know where I've gone.

Much Love to you all!
Camille

Good friends of ours have a son with this disease. He finally broke down and went on the medication. He's doing soooo much better. Hard decisions to make, but I pray for wisdom and healing.

Dear Camille.
Please know Camille and take comfort in the fact that there are friends praying for your son and for the rest of the family as you go through this ordeal. I am so thankful to hear that your son is receiving good care at the hospital. I am sure that the Lord is sending along exactly the right people that are needed at this time. Yes, sometimes we need the 'big guns'. May the Lord as His Word promises 'strengthen him on his bed of illness; and sustain him on his sickbed.' PSALM 41.3

We will be praying for you and lifting up your son to the Father. We will also add his name to our church prayer list. We meet each Wednesday evening at 7:00, so you will know that every Wednesday many people will be praying together for him.

God Bless,

Camille,
I'll definitely be praying for your precious son. When I first started showing symptoms of ulcerative proctitis (minor form of colitis), everyone thought it might be Crohn's...thankfully, it was not...but I understand how sick people can get from this. I'm praying for your son and everyone involved in his care right now :) :)

Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)

We are praying for Austin Camille and for your family. Praying that the doctors would have wisdom to treat Austin with all appropriate medications and diet. Praise God for doctors, for healing and for hospitals. We have had our share and I don't know what we would have done without God's healing hands through some of the amazing docs and meds. Sending lots of love, hugs and blessings your way. May you feel His amazing sense of peace and comfort! Please let us know how we can support you? Pippa

My Precious Friends (and even some new ones...Welcome!) ~ As you may know, I like to address each one of you individually when you leave a comment.
Unfortunately, I am unable to at this time due to our situation. Please know that all your sweet comments and kind and encouraging words have been a great blessing to my heart. Thank you SO much for praying!! God hears and HE answers. He truly does all things well. We are sensing HIS peace and presence throughout this journey and we know that HE is with us each step of the way. May the LORD bless you each one!

In HIS Love,
Camille
