July 24, 2013

Austin is not forgotten, nor will he be.
We are not moving on ~ we are moving forward.
In light of this, I'm transitioning to posts similar
to those prior to eight weeks ago.

I plan on publishing recipes and thankfulness posts,
thoughtful posts and funny ones ~ just as in the past.

This does not mean we have stopped grieving.
On the contrary ~ we will continue to grieve for some time to come.
God, in His great and powerful mercy, goes before us ~
just as He has in days gone by.  He walks this path with us.
He will never leave nor forsake us.

How wonderful the thought!

As I transition, please know that it may be a bumpy ride.
It's a process.  I have no idea how long it will take.
I'm inclined to think that this is normal.
At least, I like to entertain the idea that it is.
Don't we all like to think we are normal?  :)

May the LORD give grace to follow Him where He leads.
There is nothing to fear.  Truly.  Nothing.
He is Faithful.  He is Gracious.  He is Good.
HE is Everything.

Many Blessings,

Thank you my love!  XO

Dearest friend,

A step forward, continuing your journey.

One day at a time, not knowing what lies ahead, but knowing WHO is walking the fresh path with you, and knowing HE carries you when you are unable to take another step.

Know that you have friends in far away places holding you and yours up before throne.

In Christ alone,

Your words bless me, Camille - always - no matter what you write about. Continuing to lift your family up in prayer as you travel this up and down road of grief.

Thanks for moving on in life but remembering your dear son. Life is a journey and it's best with God, just like you are living, a day at a time, moment by moment. Continued prayers and thoughts, my friend!

Dear, dear Camille,
I hadn't checked here for a while after you posted that you would be taking some time off. My heart was fully blessed when I stopped by yesterday...and just now to find that you are moving forward with a remarkable spirit..and I am blessed. I'm blessed by God's mercy and grace so evident in your lives and blessed by your friendship. All of you continue to be in mine and Carroll's prayers each night as we have our time around God's Word and pray together. Love to you, my friend.

Looking forward to your posts whatever they may be about. He does indeed walk the path beside us, he will never leave or forsake us...just the though of that gives comfort to those who belong to him. Will be praying from afar as you continue this journey...you are a blessing my friend

Camille, I pray that in the community of God's people you would feel the freedom to post things that flow along with however you're feeling any particular day, and that they would be accepted and not judged. I don't believe anyone would give it a second thought if you posted something funny one day and sad the next. We're weathering this journey with you, my friend. xo
