Life is full of little moments that run together to form our days.
If we blink, we miss them. Very often, I blink.
These days, I am trying not to.
Seeking to keep my eyes wide open to the joys of now.
A treasure hunt map made by Howie for Emma and her friend.
Freshly fashioned cloth napkins to use daily instead of paper.
Dress-up and that it still happens.
Getting some projects under way ~ the picture wall.
Four roasted chickens for future meals.
The writing of an exam and capturing the moment through the glass.
More dressing up ~ see? It's a trend.
(And, while practicing the piano again...maybe it's a strategy.)
Snail mail preparation.
Dishcloth in progress ~ for her Mama.
The view from the top of the stairs.
From the outside looking in.
A collaborative effort ~ makes me smile.
Texas Sheet Cake ~ just because.
Just one of the benefits of home education.
And...another one. :)
Cookies ~ just because.
Warmer days and Battleship outdoors.
Flowers from my Dad on Austin's birthday ~ so thoughtful.
Thank you, Dad ~ these are still brightening our days.
The Lord gives each one of us precious moments.
May He give us eyes wide open to really see.
Don't blink! You might miss the treasures of now.
Many Blessings,
Camille

Love, love, love this. The picture "outside looking in"---wonderful! I want a piece of that chocolate cake (and am therefore checking out the recipe)! All the dress up! The benefits of homeschooling (especially the vacuuming son)!
This post is so full of wonderful blessings and Texas Sheet Cake ~ looks so good! I am impressed and inspired by all you get accomplished. Hope you are having a wonderful day!
So many moments to cherish, I really like focusing on all the little details that happen in ordinary days.
Blessings~
Beautiful pictures my friend!
I love these pictures Camille. It is a sweet window into your life. Love that "dress up" still happens.
I like to use cloth napkins most of the time around here too; there is something special about it isn't there? It is wonderful that you have musicians in your family.
Your sheet cake looks beautiful (thanks so much for linking me). Your roasted chickens are very inspiring.
So sweet that your Dad sent you flowers.
Blessings,
Pam
The beauty of life, our gift from God. You did a fabulous job gathering it all together through the lense.
Homeschooling days gone by for me, but precious memories I hold in my heart. Dress up... I still enjoy doing that, even at my age. :-)
Your home looks so warm and inviting
Camille.
Easter blessings to you and your dear family.
Joy! Debbie
Dear Jennifer Jo ~ Ah, yes...vacuuming done during the school day by a pupil is a wonderful thing! I hope you like the Texas Sheet Cake...it's scary good. Thank you for your kind words...you made me smile. :)
Dear Patty ~ I don't deserve any credit for all that got accomplished in this post...it was the children doing the stuff...I just photographed it. Oh, but I did make the cake and ate most of it...I suppose that counts for something. ;-) Thank you for always being a sweet encouragement.
Dear Mary Ann ~ Yes, *ordinary* is a very good thing I think! Thank you for stopping by. :)
Dear Nikki ~ Thank you for your kind words! :)
Dear Pam ~ Thank you for entering into the ordinary joys of life I shared here...you bless my heart. :)
Dear Debbie ~ Thank you for your sweet and encouraging words. Ah, yes...the dressing up is precious...I don't want to forget these things! May the Lord bless you all this Easter and always. :)
With love,
Camille
I love that you do "snail mail" I think it's becoming a lost art. Email, texting, and phone calls are nice and I'm so thankful that we have them, but a card or note is something you can hold in your hand and read (and reread, when I need a bit of encouragement) Lovely list, hope you have a wonderful Easter
I love all of these pictures! What sweet moments you have captured :) And that Texas Sheet Cake...looks so yummy!
Dear Maryann ~ I feel the same way as you do about snail mail...somehow that doesn't surprise me. :) Happy Easter to you! Hugs to you.
Dear Lisa ~ Thank you my sweet friend. I wish you were near enough to share a piece of that cake with me. :)
With love,
Camille
