Snapshots of life in recent days around these here parts.
The usual and ordinary things very often are the best, aren't they?
These are the things we will remember with fondness in days to come.
Mum, let's have popcorn! Okay, let's.
Of course, I joined them in the eating of it. :)
Have I mentioned how much Emma loves to swim?
She corralled each of the boys to take her on separate days last week.
The trade-off is that she hangs out the swim gear once they're back.
Emily the bride ~ she stood there for at least a day
waiting patiently to be un-brided.
The results of the recent sort-out.
A three-man job.
One of the first buds of the season ~ Austin's rose bush.
Happy Monday, Y'all!
Many Blessings,
Camille

Love the picture of the American Girl Doll...I remember when even I used to play with those! Super sweet!
Beautiful ROSE Camille!!! :)Loved all your pictures as always!
Happy Monday to you too. I always enjoy the usual and every day things; they make it seem like all is well; we are going to make it. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings,
Pam
U r right in the every day things...important and memorable of the day...even if it's nothing special. I take photos of everything any more. The other day it was sweet hands of grandchildren examining rubber stamps I'd given to Melody for her birthday. They were used but I don't need them any more. It was fun to watch Owen try and get a mark on him with one, no ink. Silly! Austin's rose, how special! Hugs!
It is those usual, everyday things that we will remember for sure. I am always going to remember how much my girls loved to check the mail box and the loud squeals of excitement from down the driveway when they received letters in the mail, especially from a certain girl in Canada. I would not allow them to open the letter that arrived yesterday until the house and kitchen had been tided. Can you get her to write more often? My house was tidied in record time!! So today was letter writing day. They wanted to know what to write about. I just told them to write about the everyday things they had been doing such as baking cakes. So kinda funny this is what your post was about today! Oh and the girl you have met has been invited to friend's wedding next year. Guess where? And yes, it looks like she is planning to attend!
Oh, friend I love the little things :) They make life and all it's imperfections, so much more meaningful! Love the pictures...especially Austin's rose bush! And little Emily...SO cute :)
Dear Sue ~ Aww...it wasn't THAT long ago, was it? Always so lovely to hear from you my friend. Hugs. :)
Dear Nikki ~ Thank you for your sweet encouragement...I appreciate you. :)
Dear Pam ~ As my sister-in-love says..."the blessings of routine"...and, they are just that, aren't they? Blessings, indeed! Hugs to you. :)
Dear Becky ~ It's a precious thing to be a shutter bug when it comes to little people...what a blessing you have little hands to photograph! :)
Dear Ann ~ Emma smiled when I told her of your twins' reaction to the notes she sent them. And, she chuckled when I told her they had to clean up before opening it. What a great system...I'll have to remember that. :)
Dear Lisa ~ You bless my heart. You know that, right? Hugs to you. :)
With love,
Camille
The every day moments are the most special! And those moments are what make memories so special. Grateful others embrace it, also!
Dear Dianna ~ I think that was how we met...wasn't it? Through the gratitude community? Yes, the little things really are so very special. Hugs to you! Camille
