The Quotidian (21. 6. 14)

Quotidian: daily, usual, or customary;
everyday; ordinary; commonplace.

I originally saw this idea over at Jennifer Jo's place.
I asked permission to adopt it over here, and she said yes.
So, here it is...my first *quotidian* post.  Thank you for sharing, Jennifer.  :)

My sewing centre ~ aka the kitchen table.

34" waist (too big) x 40" inseam (also too big) ~
adjustments for the graduate.

She actually enjoys it ~ yippee...yahoo!

Something I learned from my younger sister ~
how to get the most mileage out of the dishwasher.
I like the challenge it presents.  Like doing a puzzle.
It's satisfying to maximize and find that they all come out clean.

Fearless even after injuries.

Pressure washing the roof.

Keeping eyes wide open to the joys of now.
Life is full of many precious moments.  If only we will see.
We are living tomorrow's memories today.

Happy weekend Y'all!
With Love, Camille

How fun! Finding happiness in daily living. I read a lady's blog where once a week she has photos of her kitchen, different things each week. I like it. I had lovley moments yesterday, driving home from visiting my mom in nursing home. The clouds were just beautiful in the blue sky. Also saw a few fun things in my kitchen as I was making my lunch after Megan left for camp. I'm gonna take photos of it, cuz it can be easily recreated! Maybe you can make your post a weekly one and have other people share their moments. So thank

I had to laugh when I saw the dishwasher. I'm doing something wrong because mine don't always come out clean. I do like to fill it up though! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I love words...big words, that are out of the norm; circulation.

I'll have to check into this, this idea.

After a crazy, busy month of June so far, I am so ready for the non-exciting routine of daily housework! :)
Between moving my Mom, baby showers, graduation parties, and planning for our annual 4th of July party, I am exhausted. I am ready for a boring week with nothing on the calendar...lol!
Wishing you a lovely week my friend!

I almost missed this post because my reading list is only displaying one post and I am having to go to individual blogs to read their posts ... a major issue for blogger at the moment I understand. But you have given me an idea Camille of how I might get my blog up and running again. Rather than waiting for inspiration maybe I should just blog those everyday moments and happenings from around our home. Sometimes I think we can become overwhelmed by all the amazing creative projects and homes on the 'beautiful blogs' and think that people are not going to want to see and read about the ordinary things from our lives. But maybe they do!

I love these posts, they help me to look harder at the little things of life that make me smile and give enjoyment. I do enjoy routine ordinary days.
(loved the photo of the dishwasher, I have tried doing that but mine never come clean) Continue to enjoy those moments...Maryann

Dear Katy ~ LOL...I learned how to pack 'em in there from my sister and I have been amazed over and over how clean they come out. Thank you for your sweet words here...I appreciate you. :)

Dear Becky ~ SO much to be thankful for in the *everyday* and *ordinary* things of life...what a blessing! Are you going to begin your own *quotidian* posts? Hugs to you. :)

Dear Patty ~ It may not be you...just your dishwasher. I used to have one that would only make already clean dishes clean...LOL! Perhaps it's time for a new model? Or...just a filter change and cleaning the spray arms can make a difference. Maybe give that a try first. I hope you have more success with your servant in the coming days. :)

Dear Bevy ~ I always have liked Jennifer Jo's *quotidian* posts...they give a sweet peek into life, don't they? Perhaps you will begin? :)

Dear Jennifer Jo ~ Most likely...it was a set of three nesting bowls we were given as a wedding shower gift...back in the day. Thank you once again for sharing your post title with me and for giving me the idea in the first place. I always enjoy your *quotidian* posts (as you are aware). Hugs to you. :)

Dear Heather ~ She used to enjoy dusting, too....it was a very good thing while it lasted. LOL! Hugs to you, my friend. :)

Dear Connie ~ Hmmmm...perhaps those *certain* children are *experts*? I hope yours come out clean. :)

Dear Nadine ~ Yes, a week of *nothing* is truly a gift. I hope it turns out to be a restful one for you. SO excited for you that your granddaughter is on her way! :)

Dear Ann ~ Yes...oh, yes! Do begin sharing more of your *everyday* happenings...that would be fun. Hugs to you! :)

Dear Maryann ~ You are always a blessing to my heart my friend. Thank you for your sweet words of encouragement. Ah...the dishwasher...I had one like that. It had to be *helped* along with lots of room and pre-rinsing. Hang in there. Hugs to you. :)

With Love,
