The school year is winding down.
We are in the midst of tying up loose ends.
It's busy and good and crazy all at the same time.
This too shall pass. It's how it goes.
So we work and live and plod along.
The list of to-do gets shorter each day and
we see the light at the end of the tunnel.
It's a good feeling.
Fraser is preparing for his RCM exam ~ two days to go!
Emma reads in the sunshine....
...and is in the midst of a project.
She is also plodding away at her math.
Calvin just has one more exam to write and is filling
his days with jobs ~ some for pay and some for dinner. :)
What about me? I cut three heads of hair this morning.
That's a good feeling, too.
And so it goes. We are seeking to do the next thing.
By God's great grace. And in His strength.
We are thankful for eyes and ears and arms and legs that work.
There are many in this world who struggle to live out their moments.
Who struggle to survive. Every. Single. Day. All their days.
Nothing is guaranteed. We are not promised a life of ease.
We don't know what tomorrow will bring.
However, we do know the One Who holds it all together.
May we never take for granted the blessings we have been given.
And may we look for opportunities to be a blessing to others ~
In ways big and small. All for the glory of our Great God.
With Love,
Camille

Ahhh...I remember those days...the final days of wrapping up a homeschool year's loose ends. And I like that Calvin does some work for pay and others for dinner. Too cute the way you worded it! And the smile at the end was adorable. :)
Hugs to you, Sweet Friend!
You have a beautiful family. I love the photos and your words are refreshment to the soul. :) I just found your blog and look forward to taking a bit of time to look through it!
Warmly,
Katy
I am always impressed at how much you and your children get accomplished. Your pictures exude a peacefulness and one cannot help but smile back at Calvin.
I attempted to cut my boys hair several years ago and they retreated to the barber shop to fix my blunders! I still got some use out of my clippers with a couple of our dogs. We only have short haired dogs now so no more cutting. Maybe when grandchildren come along???? Hope you have a blessed week.
Dear Dianna ~ You make me smile. Thank you for your sweet words. Hugs to you! :)
Dear Katy ~ How lovely it is to *meet* you! Thank you for leaving sweet comments here. I look forward to getting to know you a bit better as well. :)
Dear Patty ~ You are such an encourager my friend. Thank you for your kind words...you bless my heart. I must confess, however, that I have my unproductive days...not good, but, true. I had to chuckle at your story about cutting your boys' hair....I've made blunders over the years as well. Hugs to you! :)
Many Blessings,
Camille
