Probiotics?

Short and sweet and to the point.
That's what this post is meant to be.
For your health.

If you (or your children) have taken antibiotics,
it is so important that you replenish the good
bacteria that was killed along with the bad.

Antibiotics are sometimes necessary.

But, they are not selective in what they destroy.
Our bodies need good bacteria to help us
digest our food properly.
Many of the *good guys* are wiped out with
the *bad* when antibiotics are taken.
If this happens over and over, problems can develop.

It's a nasty thing!

You can find a good brand of restorative probiotics
at your local health food store.
They can help you to determine the course of treatment
best suited to your particular case.
Please do not neglect this very important step
in restoring your body to full health!

Many blessings,
Camille

Thanks for the reminder on this. My husband was telling me about a month ago we need to start up on these for us and our children again. We slacked and never got back to it. I am going to look into getting some this week.
Isn't God good in the ways He uses others to prompt us in things as simple as going out and getting a probiotic!!! I love Him!!!

Oh girl, you are so right..
Probiotics are AWESOME !!! I have colitis (diagnoised 19 yrs ago), and the doctors had me on 9 pills a day :( and I dont like putting prescription drugs in my body..and then I started researching more natural way to live with this..and now I take probiotics, Aloe vera for inflamations, and a host of other Natural foods vitamins,,and praise God I only take 1 pill a day now..and have been in remission for over a year or better..
Great post.. get the good news out there..
love ya..have a blessed week

Our family has taken probitics after every time we take antibotics. I am a firm believer in herbs. I have studied them alot and I wouldn't live without them.

Camille,
My children take a child's probiotic everyday. It has made such a difference in them. I have one child especially with a lot of stomach issues...they went down about 85% just by adding a probiotic daily. Great post!

I didn't give Zoe her last dose of antibiotic today because it has created havoc in her little body. She's already feeling better. I googled this kind of stuff for children today too! Will be going to the health food store tomorrow!

Thanks for the reminder. I have slacked off on taking them and having the children taking them after 2 of them were on antibiotics in December and everyone was struggling with being so sick...

Dear Heather @ Cultivated ~ I'm so pleased to read that you plan to do this for your family...how terrible the consequences can be when we don't do these sorts of *maintenance* things!

Many blessings,

Hi Camille, Just wondering if ALL supplements - probiotics, etc. are SCD legal. Because if you are taking something that has illegal ingredients it can hinder the results. Here is a good webpage and at the bottom is lists a lot of illegals. http://pecanbread.com/new/Sup1.html Hope and pray your son gets better soon. My son has been on SCD for 7 months now, but he still isn't symptom free yet. It takes a long time. But he does feel pretty well - a lot better than he did before the diet.
