The Quotidian (10. 8. 15)

Quotidian: daily, usual, or customary;
everyday; ordinary; commonplace.

Evening sun.  Peaches on the counter.

More and more and more of this book.

A just-because picture that we finally got framed.
Thank you, Dad, for taking such good care of it for us.

Creativity in progress ~ Emma has entered the world of scrapbooking.

Turn of events and altered plans.
Someone forgot to bring the key for the bike rack ~
so, we went for a drive instead.

It was Fraser's birthday outing.  We made the most of it.
As it happens, he was pleased with the outcome.
Ice cream was involved.  What's not to like?

Happy Monday Y'all!
With Love, Camille

The creative pursuits you have going on get my fingers itching to be a part of it with you. I have seen the Secret Garden Coloring books and have wanted to get one….looks like such fun. I have found something similar, that I picked up a couple of weeks ago.. but not as abundant in pages or as detailed in pictures. I think it is great that those kind of books are becoming popular. Austin's picture is so good, and what a treasure. Alson love your peach picture it is beautiful. Have a lovely week Camille.

You'll have to let us know what you are going to make with all those plums, they look beautiful. We purchased one of the books and pencils for my granddaughter's birthday, I was amazed at the detail and am hoping she gets a lot of enjoyment from it. The drawing of the plane is a treasure, having it signed and dated makes it extra special. I always enjoy your Quotidian posts, big events are important to remember but its the simple day to day that makes up the bulk of our life. Hugs and Blessings

Welcome Emily to scrapbooking. It's a fun and creative activity. I have gathered so much material to use. The picture Aaron drew is awesome. What a special memory to have. What kind of fruit have you harvested? Glad Fraser enjoyed his birthday outing. Icecream always makes things better!

OH Camille, I'm so very sorry that I mistakenly called Austin Aaron. Blame my MS brain. Again, I"m so sorry. Angela

Thelma Rose ~ Thank you for your kind words. You made me smile. Hugs to you! :)

Pam ~ You are one creative girl yourself! (Notice the creativity is all Emma's in this post? I cannot take any credit). I enjoyed your most recent post (have to comment on it still)...Emma and I are thinking we might give your painted rocks a try. You make it look sooo easy! Hugs. :)

Maryann ~ Yes, truly, the everyday things are what most of life is made up of! Thank you for your kind words and thoughtful comments my friend. I am sure your granddaughter will be pleased with your gift. Jelly is the plan for the plums...we shall see! Hugs to you! :)

Nikki ~ Awww...thank you, my friend. And, yes...those shoes!! Hugs. :)

Angela ~ We have a plum tree that produced incredible amounts of fruit this year...it's been crazy! We are thankful that our Austin left us some tangible things to display. The Lord is so very good, isn't He? And, please do not worry at all about getting mixed up over names....it happens to me, too! Hugs to you. :)

Julia ~ Oh, SO good to hear that you plan to scrapbook....that must mean you are feeling better!!! Hugs to you, my friend. :)

Patty ~ It was such a pretty spot. You'd be welcome to join us anytime! Hugs. :)

So today is the first day I have even looked at my reading list on blogger! Mainly because I wanted to catch up with my sweet blogger friends. Easing myself back into the normal everyday after past few weeks. The girls wrote to Emma the other day. They love The Secret Garden colouring book and share their copy. You can buy it in postcard format. I bought a set for the children's table at the wedding and presented each child with cards and pencils in a metal tub with their name attached at their place setting. They kept one and gave one to the bride and groom. The wedding was beautiful. I will email soon to tell you all about it and will send you the link to the photographer's website once she has blogged it. Blessings to you all and very useful to know Emma has started scrapbooking!

Jill ~ Oh, it is SO time consuming, isn't it? I am SO glad my girl has been bitten by the bug, though...she is doing such a lovely job of it. :) Happy evening to you!

Sandy ~ Yes, my friend...the Lord truly is so very, very good! Emma would enjoy exchanging ideas with you. She has nearly filled up one whole book!! :)

Ann ~ I will look forward to seeing photos of the wedding. I am sure it was lovely.....what a blessing you were able to do so much of it yourselves! How fun that your twins have the same colouring book as Emma. She will look forward to hearing from them. Hugs to you. :)

Camille
