The Quotidian (17. 8. 15)

Quotidian: daily, usual, or customary;
everyday; ordinary; commonplace.

It called out to me at the beach.
Can you guess which one I am referring to and why?

These ALL called out to Emma!  :)

Pickles ~ SO Easy!!

The clean up.

Wondering if it was worth it.

Fraser's wall ~ his idea at his expense.
Remember what it looked like?
Click here to see (seventh image down).

Another of my favourite things to remember.
Click here and here and here for proof.  :)

Castoffs adopted by me.

An entire scrapbook is nearly all filled up ~
She's only just begun!

Nutmeg explosion.

A little too neon for my liking.
One thing is for certain ~ you can see me coming!

Safe-And-Sound and All-Cleaned-Up!  :)

Currently in the process of getting All-Cleaned-Up.

Happy Monday Y'all!
With Love, Camille

I enjoy your Quotidian very much. Each picture is like a treasure, and a piece of the picture of your life. I really like your stones and shells; both yours and Emma's. I understand how rocks and shells can call out to you, and because that happens to me too; don't know which one was calling to you specifically, but the large one reminds me of a little face on the rock…or perhaps a heart shape on the rock. I like the one with the white line going through it too. Yummy looking pickles. Fraser's wall looks really sharp. I like it a lot.
Have a great week Camille. I am trying to get a blog post done… but having a bit of a block… :) .Oh well.
Hugs, Pam

Hi Camille,

I love the heart on the stone. Congratulations to Emma on almost getting a scrapbook done. That's a lot of work. Enjoy what is left of summer. Loving the breeze today.

I hope cleaning the nutmeg wasn't too awful. It looks like it could have been.

I'm so glad your young men are home safe & sound.

And I had to smile when I saw the photo of the shoes, because I just purchased the same rug last week. ;-)

Oh my look at little Miss Emma... not so little anymore! She is looking so grown up. Lauren and I could hardly believe it. She is a beautiful young lady!

Pam ~ I hear you on the writer's block...it happens to me, too. That's usually when I take a little blogging break. It works for me. :) Thank you for your kind words and encouragement...you bless my heart. You are right...it was the rock with the heart shape on it. It was facing up with the heart plainly visible when I walked away from the shoreline.

Angela ~ She has been working diligently on her scrapbooking and is planning to do even more! I agree with you about the breeze...SO wonderful!! :)

Nikki ~ You make me smile my friend...thank you for being a sweet encouragement! :)

Melissa ~ How fun is that? We have the same rug!! And, the nutmeg...I couldn't believe I did that! The vacuum smells strongly of nutmeg every time it gets turned on...at least it's a lovely smell. :)

Leanna ~ It's actually the vacuum that smells of nutmeg now! LOL! :)

Jenny ~ Your little miss is growing up quickly, too! Thank you for your sweet words....you make me smile. Hugs to you both. :)

With love,
Camille

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has "explosions" in the cutlery drawer lol! WTG Emma on nearly filling a scrapbook album already. I need some of your mojo. You must be pleased to have your "boys" home..though I'm great fan of the "putting away" job after you've been away!

Love this post! It took me a minute to see the heart on the rock. I love finding unusual things like that too! Yay for scrapbooking. I have one I'm working on too, in my "spare" time. Haha Your boys look like they had an amazing time! My boys have great memories of their camping trip together. This is the year of the house for us and we are really trying to get it finished so we haven't ventured too far away from home this summer. Maybe next year? Hugs to you!! Miss you, we still need to talk soon!

Julia ~ Ah, yes...the clean up feels so good, doesn't it? Too funny about your *explosions*...I'm glad I'm not alone. Hugs to you. :)

Esther ~ The boys remember fondly their trip with your boys....yes, they should plan another trip together....perhaps for next year. And, it is totally understandable that this should be the year of the house!! You have done well to get in as many beach days as you have. Hugs! :)

Lisa ~ It is a crazy thing to see our kids grow up...isn't it? Thank you for your sweet words about our Emma. I think the same thing when I see your family, too. Hugs to you all! :)

Camille
