Our family was able to go visit my sister and her family in California at the beginning of the month. It was lovely to reconnect and spend some extended time with each other. One of the things my sister and I share is the joy of photography ~ I continue to learn...and by no means have arrived!
But it is enjoyable all the same!
She and I took MANY pictures of flowers. These are just a sampling of the ones we saw. I don't know the names of them all, but I do think that they display some of the creativity of our Great God!
Isn't HIS handiwork GLORIOUS?
"...Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow;
they toil not, neither do they spin:
And yet I say unto you,
That even Solomon in all his glory was not
arrayed like one of these."
Matthew 6:28-29

Beautiful pictures Camille. You are very talented with the camera. :)
Sounds like we were both in California at the same time.
We were in Southern California, how about you?
If you're ever in Tennessee, we would love to have you and your family over. :0)
Enjoy this day that the Lord has made,
Christa
Oh WOW! I love the third and fourth from the bottom. How wonderful to share a love of photography with your sister. My sister and I share that love, too!
Blessings to you, dear friend!
Very pretty!
Beautiful flowers & photography!
Blessings!

Camille,
You weren't too far from us in California. I was in Yorba Linda. I know about the church you visited too. My friend goes to a sister church in Ontario, ca.
What a small world.
Christa
Beautiful pictures.
The third flower down - the pretty pink cottage style plant - do you know what it is? It grows in my garden, self seeds everywhere and I have always wondered what it was called! Lovely photographs Camille.
Such beauty all around us, eh? Consider the lilies...
Beautiful! And so diverse! (You were mentioning...)My new lens is a 50mm 1.8 f-stop and it looks like yours is similar. Practice is the best teacher! Wonderful photography :)
Christa ~ How sweet of you to invite us to see you in Tennessee...if we are ever going to be in your direction it would be fun to connect! The invitation is also extended to you if you ever make it to BC. Too bad we missed one another in CA...if only we had known we were so close! :)
J ~ Those flowers were on a cactus in a place called Temecula...very pretty! :) My sister and I were both snapping away...it was fun!
Stacie ~ God's creation is amazing...I love all the detail and colours! :)
