Our Austin is outside of time.
For now, we live within it.
For now, we live within it.
That means that Calvin, Fraser and Emma
will catch up to their big brother in age.
If the Lord allows, they will pass him.
In this way ~ Time stands still.
It's a strange thing, really.
I never thought I would live longer than any of our children.
I thought they would all outlive me.
However, that was not to be.
Our desire for each of our children is that they
would love and serve and follow the Lord all their days.
And that they would go to live with Him in Heaven for all eternity.
I never expected that any would be called Home first.
But, one has.
Our Austin has gone before us.
~ Calvin, Fraser, Austin, and Emma in 2004 ~
Our destiny is the same.
Not for anything good in us.
But, because of the goodness of our Saviour.
He is perfect. He lived perfectly.
He died to pay the penalty for the sins of His people.
That each one might be made acceptable with God.
So that one day we might go live with Him for all eternity.
What an incredible thought!
May the peace that comes from these truths be yours.
May you know without any doubt where you will spend eternity.
If you are not sure where that will be,
Please seek the Lord while He may be found.
"...behold, now is the day of salvation."
~ I Corinthians 6:2b ~
"...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ,
and thou shalt be saved..."
~ Acts 16:31 ~
"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me;
and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."

Camille, My heart hurts for you because I know how you feel. It's a parents greatest fear that we outlive our children. I have had so many "could have beens" since our grandbaby was born. Amber loved babies and I often think about how many children she would have had. She would have loved her precious niece so much and I know she's looking down :) I don't know how people go through life without our faith and knowing we will see our children again.
Big Hugs,
Donna
Such a sincere caring post, Camille. Your love for those yet without Christ is so evident. May the Lord bless you this day. Hugs.
Oh my friend~ I am praying that God gives you comfort and peace. I am so very sorry for your loss.
Rejoicing that he is made whole and dancing on streets of gold.
Thoughts and Prayers for you and your family!
Dear Donna ~ You bless my heart with your words. Thank you for being a sweet encouragement to me! Truly, we are blessed as Christians to know that our children are with the Lord and that one day He will take us to be with Him, too! What a precious thought. :)
Dear Dianna ~ May the Lord bless you and your family as well my friend! Thank you for being such a sweet blessing. :)
Dear Carrie ~ Thank you for your kind words of sympathy. The Lord is Good. Always. And, we rest in His perfect plan. However, it is the most difficult road we have ever been called to. What a precious blessing to know that our Austin is safe with the Lord and that the same Lord walks this path with us. Hugs to you! :)
With Love,
Camille
Dear one,
I love your gentle spirit. Your gentle prose. Your gentle way of dealing with the loss of your first born. Such an encouragement you are to my heart. It helps me know how to be with those in my life who have experienced a loss of a loved one. It is more bearable to know that they are held within the Father's hands.
There's been a rite of passage in your family....In Austin's physical absence from the earth...Calvin steps up to fill the void of 'big brother' to Fraser and Emma. Big shoes to fill for sure.
You are a witness to the Lord's enduring grace and mercy and Love for all of His children. Thanks for sharing your sorrow with us and magnifying the Lord even in your grief. What a huge embodiment of His Love...the Lord is manifesting in you.
Praying for the family. God's blessings to each and every one!
hugs..

Dear Patrina ~ You bless me with your kind words...thank you! Thank you, too, for praying for us and for being a sweet encouragement to my heart. May the Lord bless you richly! Hugs to you. :)

Camille, I'm so sorry to hear the news about Austin! Just now catching up with you after a long absence. How precious our children are, even if they are only on loan from our Father. I'm sure the Lord is enjoying Austin's presence with Him in Heaven. May He wrap His loving arms around you today since I can't.
Love, Teresa
Praying God's continued peace and comfort in your heart.
Dear Teresa ~ How lovely it is to hear from you my friend! Thank you for stopping by and for being a sweet encouragement to my heart. Yes, truly, our children are gifts on loan from our Heavenly Father. They belong to Him. Blessings to you! :)
Dear Mary Grace ~ Lovely to hear from you here...thank you for stopping by. Thank you for praying. God is Good. Always.
Many Blessings,
Camille
