Along the River and Through the Woods

A day out with Auntie Mary.
We met at a half-way point.
And we took a walk...
and then enjoyed a picnic.

The day was gorgeous.
(A rare thing this spring ~
we've had a lot of rain).

Auntie Mary and Mum strolling along ~
how lovely it is to see them together.
Auntie Mary was married to
Mum's brother...Uncle Johnnie ~
he's been with the LORD three
years now!

Imagine...
In Heaven for three years!

Auntie Mary is with us for
a three week visit.
We are sharing her with the
rest of the family.
Today begins our *special*
few days with her. :)

The children positioned
like steps going down ~
Austin, Calvin, Fraser and Emma...
unplanned. :)

A little photo shoot ~
Of course!

Fraser, Austin, Calvin and Emma ~
Our four.

The Fraser River...
our *view*.

Emma getting flowers put into her hair ~
how wonderful to have girl cousins! :)

Need I say more?

A fun time was had by all.
These are the blessings of life...
may we cherish the moments and the
days the LORD gives us!

In HIM,
Camille

Absolutely beautiful family photographs Camille. Wow, the Fraser river reminds me of the river that runs through our valley. Wishing you more wonderful days with Auntie Mary and lots of sunshine to enjoy them!

Oh Camille,

What a wonderful day and the Lord was so generous to grant you sunny weather :) I am glad that you are enjoying your visit with your Auntie, what sweet pictures too!

BTW, your ice cream looks so decadent! I have considered the ice cream attachment as well. Hmmm, I may just need to add that to the wishlist!

Happy (belated) Victoria Day!

Love,
Sharon

What a treasure you have in being able to spend this special time with your Auntie Mary. She looks delightful!

And I say a hearty AMEN to time spent with cousins! Some of my very closest "friends" today are cousins as a result of the time we spent together growing up.

Camille,
This is so sweet! All of the pictures shout of God's goodness and mercies. What a sweet countenance your Auntie Mary has. I love that you use "Auntie" too. That's what I like to call my Aunt. :)

Much love to you, and enjoy every second of this time together!

What a special visit!!! And I must say that seeing the pictures of your three boys and girl just make my heart sing! I'm looking forward to experiencing some of that soon enough...

~One of the many Heather's who reads your blog! :) I guess I could be 'AZ Heather'. lol.

Dear Heather in AZ ~ I like that...thank you for a tag to add to your name. It's interesting how many lovely *Heather* friends visit here...I do have you all separate in my mind...each of you is special. :) Oh Heather...when I learned that the baby you are carrying is a girl I was sooooo excited for you!!! Absolute preciousness! I didn't know before our girl was born, so it took a little while to adjust to...but, it was a wonderful adjustment! God graciously gives us exactly the right children for our families...what an amazing thing to ponder! :)

Camille
