Gift in a Mug

Do you have a Sunday School teacher on your list? How about a music teacher? A sports coach or art instructor? Even a school teacher? (Although ~ I happen to know that the last thing they really need is another mug) ~ But here goes anyway...they will love whatever it is you put into it!

Get yourself a cute mug

Now find something yummy

Add in a pretty ornament

(if the recipient will be a guy, you might want to find something more masculine)...

Line the mug with some printed or plain tissue paper and fill with your items...

Set the mug onto some clear cello wrap (found in the wrapping paper area of your store) and make sure you have enough to gather up into a nice bunch before you cut.

Tie with a pretty ribbon and you are done!

See... I think this is a great idea. The kids will probably use the mug for hot cocoa, the husband will eat the chocolate and the wife gets another orni for her tree... It's the gift that gives 3 times :)

Christa ~ There are so many variations on this one...and it's a fun gift to give.

Nadine ~ You can dress it up so many different ways...enjoy!

Sharon ~ Maybe you will be gifted something like it from one of your Sunday School students! :) Wouldn't that be fun? I agree...especially the chocolate.

Mavis ~ Oh no...the WIFE eats the chocolate! At least that's how it goes around here! :)

Thanks to all of you for your sweet comments.

Blessings,
Camille

I've gotten several of these kinds of gifties over the years and have always loved them! My last one was a rooster mug...how appropriate!

Cindy ~ I would agree that sounds very appropriate! :) I love these types of gifts too...they have a personal touch ~ when you consider the variety of ways they can be done. Take for example the thought that went into the rooster mug you were given...so sweet!

Yum~ I might just try them tomorrow. Do you think chocolate chips would work? I am working out of my daughter's pantry. Not quite like mine!
I hope you are enjoying this blessed season!

Hi Carrie ~ I found out where this comment got to! I felt so bad that I published without knowing which post it was under.

I am assuming you are talking about the Chocolate Crinkle Cookies...I'm sure you could substitute chocolate chips...it would be about 2 Tbsp chocolate chips per ounce required. They would probably turn out sweeter than the original due to the fact that it is unsweetened chocolate you are using. I have also substituted cocoa powder and butter as it directs on the side of the package...yields the same results. Hope you like them!!

How blessed your daughter and son-in-law are to have you there with them to cook and bake and enjoy!!

Blessings,
Camille
