**Austin's violin**
Austin had no chance!
When he was a baby I believe I indoctrinated him with a love for the violin.
Classical music would be playing and when the violins were
featured in a piece I would draw special attention to them.
"Listen, listen," I would encourage, "Do you hear that?"
Again, with a look of rapture on my face, "Austin, those are the violins!"
How could he help it?
His desire has been to play the violin since the tender age of four.
We did not offer our children music lessons until our first year of home school.
Austin was eleven. "What instrument would you like to play?" I inquired.
The answer was not a surprise...he has not looked back since.
Now he even composes his own music! What does the Lord have in store?
Many Blessings, Camille

Camille,
I have so enjoyed browsing through your blog and my heart has been encouraged! One thing the Lord is teaching me through blogging is that His people are everywhere!
And...I am going to HAVE to try that granola recipe!
Welcome J!
I found you through the Blog Party Michelle initiated...such a great idea! :)
I am so glad you visited here and were encouraged...THAT is an encouragement to my heart.
You sound like me in your surprise over finding "like-minded" friends through blogging. It has been a real blessing to my heart to meet women like you in my "travels".
Have a fabulous day!
Blessings,
Camille
I learned to play the fiddle while I was pregnant with my son. Yesterday, Josiah wanted a music lesson. I've got a 1/4 size fiddle for him and we had a great time. Might be a natural, we'll see. Homeschooling is so fun!
How fun is that?! How old is he?? You'll have to make sure to video him while he is still playing that LITTLE violin!
Austin loves to fiddle...it's lots of fun to listen to.
Have a great night Jackie!
Josiah is 6 years old. We actually started lessons when he was 4, but he was too young and we didn't want to push it. We are considering lessons again, but want to make sure he is truly interested this time.
What fun it will be if he is ready...so nice to start lessons when they are young!
Thank you Camille for your sweet encouraging comment. I appreciate your visiting!
I have a g'son by the name of Austin. He is taking piano lessons and his brother Avery plays the classical guitar. The two girls will soon play the flutes. I love that families involve their children with good activities like playing good wholesome instruments with Praises to GOD.
I hope to visit you again often.
Blessings to you as you strive to make a difference in other lives by your faith.
HOPE
Welcome here Hope! So lovely that you stopped by! :) What a blessing that God gave us music...may we use it for HIS glory! How fun that you have an Austin in your family too...I have loved that name for a very long time. :)
Blessings,
Camille
