My Swimmers

While the boys were at camp,
Fraser and Emma took swim lessons at the
local outdoor pool.

We are so blessed to have access to this pool.
It is only a three minute walk from our home
and it's FREE!

Swim lessons, however, are not free,
but the fee charged is very reasonable.
The children have only ever taken lessons here...

It is a
TRADITION.

Here is Emma getting ready to practice a back glide. :)

And the front glide....

Fraser attempting a kneeling dive.

Going...

How fun is that. I'm glad your kids had a good time swimming ;) I can remember taking swimming lessons at this swimming pool in Rosemead, CA :) :) I remember starting out lying on a chair seat and practicing the moves...going to the kiddie pool...and then the big kids/adult pool :) :) :) I'm glad they had a good time. That's really nice that it's so close to your home!!! You can walk and you don't have to drive if you don't want to. Have a lovely week. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

Camille,, you are so right,,I have been a recipient of Gods grace, more than I could count.. and I am so grateful that he has been patient with me..
I have a joke with God that sometimes he has to put the dots REALLY close together for me..lol..
But I remind him too , that he made me this way..lol.. and he loves me anyway..
Thanks for stopping by.. see ya real soon...

Hey Camille.. I so need to do that for my grand daughter who is 2 going on 12.lol...
she jumps in my pool with her floats on ,, but she is too young to realize that w/o them, she will sink like a stone.. so that is my next venture i think.. swimming lessons for the wee one.

Camille,

Always a blessing to visit your blog--you honor Christ and bring a refocus to me many times when I'm weary. I was just enjoying your music tonight while packing for vacation tomorrow. We're going to Pigeon Forge TN and then on to visit relatives in IN. Can't wait to make memories with our girls! That's one reason we have these years together, isn't it?

I really should get back to blogging--maybe soon. I just tried an Asian Chicken recipe that would be wonderful to post!

Take care, and continue to shine for Him who is worthy of all we are and have!

Dear Heather ~ How wonderful that you had the opportunity to learn to swim as a child! We are so thankful for this pool...it is a great blessing! :)

Dear Karen ~ OH YES...God's GRACE is SO abundant toward us! AND...how sweet that you want to provide your little grand-daughter with swim lessons...it will be a blessing to her I am sure! :)

Dear Teresa ~ How lovely it is to hear from you! Oh how busy life can get...I understand the absence from blogging...really I do! :)

Thank you for your sweet words of encouragement! How WONDERFUL the LORD is...HE is the One Who gives the enabling.

As for the Asian Chicken...it would be fun to try it! I *love* trying out new recipes.

Have a FABULOUS holiday! :)

Dear Dianna ~ Thank you! We are so blessed to have these opportunities, aren't we? So often we don't realise how fortunate we really are!! :)

Blessings to you each one!
In Him,
Camille

Wanting What I Have said...

Sooooo cute! DO people say Fraser looks just like you? In the last photo where he's wearing the hooded sweatshirt, I say he looks a lot like you! (Of course, I'm just judging from blog pics. :) )

Yes, J...Fraser is like me. Actually, when he was about three years old I had a "flashback" moment when I was talking to him and it was as if he was my brother as a three year old! It was INCREDIBLE! My brother and I are very alike. :)

Have a great day!
Love,
Camille

What fun Camille!!! The kids look like they are having a great time which no doubt means that you did too! :) That water looks so refreshing, especially since we have been having a bit of a heatwave. Rain today though :)

Thanks for sharing thses sweet moments with us and have a blessed day!

Sharon

PS I am not going to look at your yummy dessert post as I am trying to lose weight :)

Dear Sharon ~ How WONDERFUL that you are getting rain after a heat wave...THAT is refreshing!! AND...may the LORD give you the strength and grace as you seek to be disciplined in the dessert department. I have found that allowing a small reward once per week helps me to keep motivated...but I agree, THAT dessert would not be something to make unless there were MANY to share with! :)

Have a WONDERFUL day!
Love,
Camille
